THE STUDIO
Founded in Hampshire by its Creative Director Sarah Levings, Studio a.i.l offers Interior Design services across private residential and development projects, with a portfolio of new builds and renovations. Since its inception, from a kitchen table in Alresford, Studio a.i.l has been approached for and appointed on projects across the UK & Europe.
The Studio’s ethos is to create timeless spaces, spaces that enhance a building’s architectural character within the interiors, elevating and complementing the original fabric with thoughtful interiors that accommodate the needs and well being of the Client. This is illustrated in each project through a strong sensibility to form, materiality and craftsmanship, culminating in consistently unique spaces.
sARAH lEVINGS
Sarah studied Textile design and began her career in the Fashion Industry in London, before pursuing a Masters in Interior Design, and has since held positions in London & Surrey at renowned studios, gaining extensive experience designing prestigious projects Nationally and across Europe.
By combining classical with modern, Sarah has developed a recognisable aesthetic. Her designs harmonise contemporary pieces with antiques and traditional materials and to execute timeless, inviting environments that support well being and do not compromise on function.
Sarah naturally builds close relationships with clients and through this forms a basis for translating their personality, understanding how they use each space, and turns ideas into reality. Sarah facilitates this through her attention to detail, absolute dedication, and technical awareness.
